The course was designed by the famous father and son team of Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr., masterfully arranged in the grandeur of red rock splendor.

The golf course consists of 145 acres, including three lakes. Water comes into play twice on the front nine between the #1 and #9 holes. On the back nine the water comes into play on holes #13 and #16 and occasionally, on hole #15. Recent renovations to the golf course include brand new concrete cart paths and all the greenside bunkers rebuilt under the watchful eyes of the Robert Trent Jones Jr. design firm.
